Privacy Policy

Summary

We only collect the data required to operate the site, respond to messages, and keep the service secure. We do not sell or rent personal details. Access is limited to the maintainer and essential service providers such as Resend (email) and Cloudflare (hosting).

Information we collect

• Contact form submissions: your name, email address, and message so we can reply. The data is processed by our Cloudflare Pages Function and delivered to the maintainer via Resend.
• Server logs: Cloudflare automatically records IP addresses, user agents, and request metadata to detect abuse and troubleshoot outages. These logs are retained by Cloudflare in line with their policies.
• AdSense metrics: Google may provide aggregated reporting on ad impressions and clicks. Individual user profiles are not shared with us.

We do not intentionally collect financial account numbers, government IDs, or precise GPS data. Please avoid including sensitive information in the contact form.

Cookies and third-party tags

Desi Converter does not set any first-party cookies. Google AdSense may place cookies or use similar technologies to measure ad performance and prevent invalid activity. You can manage AdSense cookie settings through Google’s AdChoices tools or via your browser preferences.

Advertising disclosures

Ads help us keep the converter free. We follow Google’s programme policies and only place ad units on pages that contain meaningful content. We block categories that conflict with our audience and regularly review placement quality to protect user experience.

How we use the data

• Replying to support requests and correction reports submitted through the contact form.
• Monitoring for suspicious activity, including automated scraping or API abuse.
• Reviewing anonymous ad reports to understand if page layouts need adjustments.

Retention

Contact messages are archived in the maintainer’s inbox for up to 18 months so we can follow up on earlier threads. Cloudflare may retain server logs for a shorter period under their own policies. AdSense retains advertising records as described in Google’s documentation.

Data security

All traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to hosting, DNS, and the email provider is protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. If we learn about a data exposure that affects your information, we will contact impacted users and work with Cloudflare or Resend to address the issue.

Children’s privacy

Desi Converter is built for general audiences but not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a guardian believes a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We revise this page when we integrate new services or adjust our data practices. The “last updated” date below indicates the current version.
